 Welcome to the Armenian Insurance Settlement AXA Web Site.
            This Settlement Web Site is the official site for news and information regarding a proposed settlement (the «Settlement») of two class actions, Kyurkjian, et. al, v. AXA, S.A., et al., Case No: CV 02-01750 and Ouzounian, et. al., v. AXA, S.A., et. al., Case No: CV 05-02596 (collectively, the «Actions»), in the United States District Court, Central District of California, (the «Court»). The Settlement was approved on May 16, 2006 by Judge Christina A. Snyder of the United States District Court in Los Angeles, California. FRANCE’S AXA TO PAY ARMENIAN MASSACRE HEIRS UNTIL OCTOBER

YEREVAN, July 10, 2007 (AFP) – The descendants of victims of a World War I massacre of Armenians under the Ottoman Empire can apply for payments from French insurance giant AXA until October, lawyers said Tuesday.
    AXA settled a class-action lawsuit in 2005 with a 17.5 million dollar (12.7 million euro) settlement in favour of the heirs of policy-holders who were unable to claim insurance from current subsidiaries of the company that were operating in the Ottoman Empire.

OYAK’s partner AXA releases list of insured victims of forced Armenian emigration

Insurance company AXA, the French partner of the Armed Forces Pension Fund (OYAK Group), has released a list of insured Anatolian Armenians who lost their lives during the forced emigration by the Ottoman Empire during World War I. The list includes 7,000 names.
