Απίστευτο και όμως αληθινό. Σύμφωνα με την εφημερίδα «ΤΟ ΒΗΜΑ» στην ηλεκτρονική της έκδοση, η Νέα Δημοκρατία, το κόμμα δηλαδή που θέλει να μας κυβερνήσει και να φέρει διαφάνεια στον τόπο, θεωρεί ότι ο περαιτέρω έλεγχος των λογαριασμών των βουλευτών στην Ελβετία, από την αρμόδια προς τούτο επιτροπή της Βουλής,  αποτελεί ταπείνωση για τους βουλευτές. Τόμπολα!!!

Σε επιστολή που απέστειλε ο Γραμματέας της ΚΟ της ΝΔ κ. Τασούλας, προς τον πρόεδρο της Επιτροπής Ελέγχου των πόθεν έσχες των βουλευτών και αντιπρόεδρο της Βουλής κ. Ευ. Αργύρη, αναφέρει μεταξύ των άλλων ότι η ΝΔ απορρίπτει την αποστολή εξουσιοδοτήσεων των βουλευτών του Ελληνικού Κοινοβουλίου προς τις τράπεζες της Ελβετίας για το άνοιγμα τυχόν λογαριασμών τους στα πιστωτικά αυτά ιδρύματα. Ως έναν από τους λόγους που επικαλείται στην επιστολή του ο κ. Τασούλας είναι ότι «Η αποδοχή μιας τέτοιας πρότασης θα αποτελούσε νέα παγκόσμια είδηση. Θα καταρράκωνε το κύρος του Ελληνικού Κοινοβουλίου διεθνώς…

Global Internet tax suggested by European network operators, who want Apple, Google, and other Web companies to pay to deliver content, is proposed for debate at a U.N. agency in December.

The United Nations is considering a new Internet tax targeting the largest Web content providers, including Google, Facebook, Apple, and Netflix, that could cripple their ability to reach users in developing nations.

The European proposal, offered for debate at a December meeting of a U.N. agency called the International Telecommunication Union, would amend an existing telecommunications treaty by imposing heavy costs on popular Web sites and their network providers for the privilege of serving non-U.S. users, according to newly leaked documents.

The documents (No. 1 No. 2) punctuate warnings that the Obama administration and Republican members of Congress raised last week about how secret negotiations at the ITU over an international communications treaty could result in a radical re-engineering of the Internet ecosystem and allow governments to monitor or restrict their citizens’ online activities.

«It’s extremely worrisome,» Sally Shipman Wentworth, senior manager for public policy at the Internet Society, says about the proposed Internet taxes. «It could create an enormous amount of legal uncertainty and commercial uncertainty.»

The leaked proposal was drafted by the European Telecommunications Network Operators Association, or ETNO, a Brussels-based lobby group representing companies in 35 nations that wants the ITU to mandate these fees.

Israeli officials who were placed at risk by the Obama administration’s leaks about the Stuxnet virus are disputing American claims that the cyber-weapon was jointly developed by the U.S. and Israel. Rather, they say, Israeli intelligence first started developing cyberspace warfare against Iran, only convincing the U.S.–with some difficulty–to join in. The Israelis allege that President Barack Obama claimed credit for Stuxnet to boost his re-election campaign.

The exacerbating unrest in Syria stems from an imperialist agenda aimed at eliminating the Middle Eastern governments unfavorable to the US interests in the region, a political analyst tells Press TV.

“It is an agenda for replacement of governments that are not acceptable to American imperialism,” said political commentator Ralph Schoenman in a Friday interview, alluding to the Syrian crisis.

“It is not only in Syria this project… it is intended for Iran. It was implemented in Libya; it is the nature of imperial intervention in the region. That is the underlying reality here; everyday confirms it,” he added.

Schoenman pointed out that Washington has not scrupled to conceal its real agenda, saying, “From the beginning the US spokespersons and the secretary of state and the US representative to the UN have made it explicit that their objective is to remove the government in Syria.”

Syrian rebels aim to use chemical weapons, blame Damascus – report — RT

The armed Syrian opposition has got their hands on chemical weapons, which they acquired from Libya, a media report claims. They allegedly plan to use it against civilians and pin the atrocity on the Bashar al-Assad regime.

­The report by DamPress claims the opposition group in possession of the weapons is being trained in its use inside Turkey. No further detail on the alleged conspiracy is given.

The Libyan stockpile of chemical weapons was a matter of great concern during last year’s civil war in the country. There were fears that they may end up in the hands of the terrorists and used elsewhere in the world. However unlike Libya’s portable surface-to-air arsenal, no reports of the weapons going missing was made public.

Syria has a greater number of chemical weapons than Libya. Military experts say the agents in the Syrian stockpile are also more modern that what Gaddafi had produced for his military. Syria also didn’t join the Chemical Weapons Convention and is not obliged to declare what chemical weapons it possesses.
