US-Backed Terrorists in Syria Responsible for Ambassador’s Death in Libya.

September 13, 2012 – The US has sworn to «make pay» those responsible for the death of US Ambassador Christopher Stevens. In reality, those responsible for Stevens’ death are fully armed, funded, trained, and coordinating with NATO special forces in Libya, across North Africa, and in Syria.

He played a leading role in coordinating the violent subversion of Libya by listed terrorist organizations before being named «US Ambassador» to Libya. Despite Libya’s capital being located over 400 miles west in Tripoli, Stevens was based out of Benghazi, the 30 year epicenter of  terrorist extremism and Al Qaeda in Libya. Recent attacks on US embassies were designed to give «street credit» to sectarian extremists who are increasingly seen internationally as mercenary proxies of US-Saudi-Israeli foreign policy – Stevens’ death was most likely an accident.

No one will «pay» beyond perhaps a wedding party attacked by US drones, or a limited liquidation of select terrorist groups the US created and armed during 2011’s violent overthrow of the Libyan government. Meanwhile, US warships and Marines will swarm around Libya simply to fulfill Western public expectations that «something» will be done.

The embassy attacks were tacitly supported by the respective client-regimes recently installed by US political and military destabilization, and were designed to reestablish an adversarial narrative to counter growing public awareness of the US’ use of terrorist proxies, and specifically, Al Qaeda in nations like Libya, Syria, Iraq, and Iran. We are now expected to believe that Egypt’s new dictator Mohamed Morsi, and the terrorists of Libya whom the US is right now arming and supporting in Syria, are once again our implacable enemies.

In all likelihood, those behind the attacks on the embassies intended the violence to be limited in scope, and without any high-profile deaths – designed simply to lend sorely lacking legitimacy to America’s growing list of client-states. Ambassador Stevens apparently was caught in smoke while escaping from the US consulate in Benghazi, and died of asphyxiation – a victim of unforeseen circumstances, not the victim of a targeted assassination. However, with a high ranking US diplomat dead in Libya, in Benghazi, the very den of Al Qaeda, leaves the United States and its foreign policy, especially in regards to Syria, in tatters.

Editor’s Note: With Russia openly accusing the West of using Al Qaeda as their direct, militant proxies in Syria and beyond, this latest attempt to purposefully provoke and incite Muslims across the Arab World is an attempt by the West to reestablish the perception that the US and Israel are at war with sectarian extremists, not partnered with them. An assault on the American consulate in the eastern city of Benghazi, the epicenter of not only last year’s violent subversion and destruction of sovereign Libya, but a decade’s old epicenter of global terrorism, left Ambassador Stevens dead along with reportedly three others.

NATO Terrorists Target Syria & Algeria

NATO’s Pan-Arab Terrorist Blitzkrieg.

August 29, 2012 – Western policy makers admit that NATO’s operations in Libya have played the primary role in emboldening Al Qaeda’s AQIM faction (Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb). The Fortune 500-funded Brookings Institution’s Bruce Riedel in his article, «The New Al Qaeda Menace,» admits that AQIM is now heavily armed thanks to NATO’s intervention in Libya, and that AQIM’s base in Mali, North Africa, serves as a staging ground for terrorist activities across the region.

The feared «global Caliphate» Neo-Cons have been scaring Western children with for a decade is now taking shape via US-Saudi, Israeli, and Qatari machinations, not «Islam.» In fact, real Muslims have paid the highest price in fighting this real «war against Western-funded terrorism.»

AQIM, like their Libyan counterparts, the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) are both listed by the US State Department as «Foreign Terrorist Organizations.» Likewise, both the UK Home Office (.pdf, listed as GSPC) and the UN recognize both organizations as terrorists.

Despite this, military intervention in Libya was pursued by the West and condoned by the UN with full knowledge that the militants leading so-called «pro-democracy uprisings» were in fact merely the continuation of decades of violent terrorism carried out by Al Qaeda affiliates. The West had full knowledge of this, primarily because it was Western intelligence agencies arming and supporting these militants for the last 30 years, in Libya’s case, while coddling their leaders in Washington and London.

Additionally, the US Army itself meticulously documented foreign terrorists fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, noting that the highest percentage per capita emanated from Libya’s cities of Benghazi and Darnah, the so-called «cradle» of 2011’s «pro-democracy uprisings» in Libya.

What unfolded was a premeditated lie – where placard waving «activists» overnight turned into battle-hardened heavily armed, tank driving, jet flying militants waging a nationwide battle against Libyan leader, Muammar Qaddafi. In reality, it was the fruition of 30 years of covert support the West has poured into militant groups across the region – support that would not end with the fall of Qaddafi.

LIFG terrorists promptly turned both east to Syria and west to Mali beyond their borders – a logistical matter they had perfected during their operations in Iraq and Afghanistan over the past decade. LIFG commander Abdul Hakim Belhaj, as early as November 2011, arrived on the Turkish-Syrian border to provide cash, weapons, and LIFG terrorist fighters, overseen by Western intelligence along with US funding and arms laundered through Gulf Cooperative Council (GCC) members such as Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Since then Libyan militants have been confirmed to be leading entire brigades of foreign fighters inside Syria.

And as Bruce Riedel of Brookings concedes, these weapons went west to Mali as well. Algeria had feared just such a scenario unfolding with NATO’s intervention in Libya – a fear now fully realized. Ironically, Riedel, in August 2011, had tried to make a case for Algeria being «next to fall» in an article titled literally, «Algeria Will Be Next to Fall.»

A year ago, Riedel attempted to argue that it would be the so-called «Arab Spring» that would spread into Algeria after having taken root in neighboring Libya. He had eluded to, and it has now become abundantly clear, that by  «Arab Spring,» Riedel meant, US-backed subversion, and more specifically NATO-armed Al Qaeda-brand militancy and terrorism.

With the US now openly arming, supporting, and literally «cheering» Al Qaeda in Syria, it is clear that the «War on Terror» is an unprecedented geopolitical fraud perpetuated at the cost of millions of lives destroyed and an incalculable social and economic toll. NATO, with full knowledge of the consequences is literally carving out of North Africa and the Middle East, the so-called «Caliphate» Western leaders had held over their impressionable people’s heads as the impetus to perpetually wage global war. Torn from the pages of Orwell’s 1984, an artificial war has been created to carry forward corporate-financier machinations both abroad and domestically. The so-called threat to Western civilization is in fact a foreign legion of Western corporate-financier interests, executing Wall Street and London’s foreign policy on a global scale where and in a manner traditional Western forces cannot.

NATO’s terrorist blitzkrieg across the Arab World will not end in Syria. It will continue, if allowed, into Iran, through the Caucasus Mountains and into Russia, across China’s western borders, and even across Southeast Asia. The price for ignorance, apathy, and complicity in supporting the West’s so-called «War on Terror» will ironically reap all the horrors and then some in reality, that were promised to us if we didn’t fight this «Long War.»

Our support of both the political gambits of our politicians, as well as our daily patronage of the corporate-financier interests driving this agenda have already reaped an unprecedented and still growing regional safe haven for terrorists – and as moderate secular governments continue to be undermined and toppled, we can only imagine the blowback, retaliation, and other consequences as this destructive foreign policy unfolds. To imagine that such meddling will not end up being visited back upon us, even if in the form of a false flag attack dwarfing 9/11, would be folly.

Already, we are suffering economic devastation and an increasingly stifling security apparatus at home, and as long as we capitulate to this current agenda instead of asserting a more rational one of our own, it will only get worse.

‘World being readied for aggression against Syria’ — RT

World opinion is being orchestrated towards a military operation against the Syrian regime, researcher and author F. William Engdahl told RT. Still, any decisive action against Assad will be postponed until after the US presidential election.

­The international forces supporting regime change in Syria are continuing to mount pressure on the Assad regime, whipping up the fact that the country possesses chemical weapons. Despite the Syrian government’s firm assurance these weapons will never be used in the internal conflict, countries supporting Syrian opposition are openly discussing plans to take Syria’s chemical weapons stockpiles under their control.

Since control could be established only by physical presence of some sort of military force at the sites where the weapons are kept, foreign intervention into the country would be necessary.

Syria’s ex-ambassador to Iraq, who defected to the opposition, has claimed the Assad regime may have already used chemical weapons.

F. William Engdahl, the author of «Myths, Lies and Oil Wars» says all allegations the chemical weapons in Syria have already been used – or will be in the future – serve the single purpose of paving the way for intervention.

Chemical weapons are not precise and could not be used in residential quarters where most of the fighting in Syria is going on. They are “for huge battle field conditions,” insists Engdahl, because “you’ll [poison] your supporters as well as Al-Qaeda mercenaries,” he explains.

Actually, the situation with chemical weapons in Syria is a déjà vu of the hysteria over the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq a decade ago, believes the researcher.

“I smell a re-run of the old Pentagon scenario that Dick Cheney and friends ran to justify the war in Iraq,” Engdahl states. “And now they’re trying to do that with the chemical warfare weapons of mass destruction in Syria, to create a climate that this is the most pressing thing on the face of the Earth. And this is simply not the case.”

The historian wonders how many times it will take for people to wise up to the fact that the WMD hysteria was scripted in the RAND Corporation (American think tank) for Pentagon which put it into its “how-to” manuals.

“They are just toppling one regime after another to create their ‘grand design’. This is not the way toward democracy. This is a way toward a one superpower tyranny,” slams Engdahl.

The efforts to expose the Assad regime as a brutal one are going along the same lines as the media smear campaign against Colonel Muammar Gaddafi in Libya a year ago. Just like in Libya, the Syrian regime is now being accused of using fighter jets against rebels, without any evidence whatsoever being produced. In Libya the alleged use of its air force led to a UN-sanctioned no-fly zone over the country and ultimately the direct military interference of Western democracies into the internal conflict of a sovereign state.

“We’re just watching the orchestration of images being played on to the world opinion,” acknowledged Engdahl. “This is exactly what happened in Libya –‘we must do something’ and ‘humanitarian intervention’ and so forth,” he explained. “Frankly, I don’t think that that is a reality.”

Engdahl believes that “establishing a no-fly zone over Syria now is not feasible given the massive and effective aircraft defenses that Syria has.”

The Syrian conflict will be kept “on a hot burn” until after the presidential elections in the US, he shared.

“Whether Israel, for reasons of its own, in wanting to tip the US elections toward Mitt Romney and away from Obama – whom [Israeli PM Benjamin] Netanyahu despises personally and politically – that I can’t say. I’m not privileged to have inside information on Israeli intent, if they are going to try to hot up this chemical weapons scenario to create the rush toward war,” said Engdahl.

“I think we’re going to see a huge escalation of all of this after the November elections and January oath of office of the next US president,” he concluded. “Obama doesn’t want this breaking into an open war before the election. The last thing American voters want to see is another Iraq or Afghanistan on their doorstep.”

British media, NATO and UN hype up emotions on the Turkish incident

What we are looking at right now is clearly a possible “False Flag” incident to justify an action against Syria when the shooting down of the Turkish Air Force Phantom jet fighter was perfectly legitimate under international law and UN guidelines on the rules of engagement.

The BBC carried the following headline in its biased coverage of this incident when it said:

Turkey calls NATO meeting on warplane downed by Syria – Turkey has called a meeting of NATO member states to discuss its response to the shooting down of one of its warplanes by Syrian forces on Friday.

Ankara has invoked Article 4 of NATO charter, under which consultations can be requested when an ally feels their security is threatened, officials say.

Earlier, Turkey’s foreign minister said the F-4 Phantom was in international airspace when it was shot down.

I find this entire episode truly getting very much out of control with even the Turkish Government now changing their story since the incident on Friday and even in this same BBC article one can read Turkey´s Foreign Ministry stating:  It knew the coordinates of the jet, which was in Syrian territorial waters at a depth of 1,300m (4,265ft), but has not yet found it………..so why the hype and why is this escalating into a possible armed conflict between NATO – Syria and why has the  UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon today expressed “his deep concern” about the incident.

US Struggles to Install Proxy «Brotherhood» in Egypt

From Egypt to Syria, the Muslim Brotherhood does the West’s bidding – now joined by overt State Department fronts.

June 23, 2012 – Were anyone to still believe the rhetoric of the so-called «Arab Spring,» one would be admittedly confused over the emerging political landscape in Egypt where the military establishment and the Muslim Brotherhood have emerged from what was supposedly a «pro-democracy» «popular uprising.»

However, if anyone understood that the «pro-democracy» protesters were in fact US State Department-funded, trained, and equipped mobs providing cover for the attempted installation of the Muslim Brotherhood amongst many other potential Western proxies, the current political battle would make perfect sense.

As evidence continues to mount against the Brotherhood, implicating them as overt proxies of Western foreign policy, their credibility took another blow as the US State Department’s April 6 Movement endorsed Morsi. Below, Egypt’s youth are once again duped by Western propaganda and fellow Egyptians conspiring against their own nation and people.

The Egyptian military, like in many developing nations, may accept money from the West, may train with Western forces, and may even participate in Western machinations of global domination, but are ultimately nationalists with the means and motivation to draw lines and check the West’s ambitions within Egypt and throughout Egypt’s sphere of influence. The necessity for the West of removing not only Hosni Mubarak who had refused to participate in a wider role against Iraq and Iran, but the grip of the military itself over Egyptian politics and replacing it with the Muslim Brotherhood who is already hard at work in Syria attempting to overthrow one of Iran’s primary regional allies, is paramount.

«Pro-democracy» movements, particularly the April 6 youth movement, trained, funded, and equipped by the US State Department, serve the sole purpose of giving the Muslim Brotherhood’s installation into power a spin of «legitimacy» where otherwise none exists. Those within these «pro-democracy» movements with legitimate intentions will be inevitably disappointed if not entirely thrown under the wheels of Western machinations as regional war aimed at destroying Iran, Syria, and Lebanon’s Hezbollah arch of influence slowly unfolds.

Muslim Brotherhood were, are, and will be Western Proxies  

Despite the Brotherhood’s lofty rhetoric, it has from its inception been a key proliferator of Western foreign policy. Currently, the Syrian arm of the Muslim Brotherhood has been involved heavily, leading in fact, the US, Israeli, Saudi, and Qatari-backed sectarian violence that has been ravaging Syria for over a year. In a May 6, 2012 Reuters article it stated:

«Working quietly, the Brotherhood has been financing Free Syrian Army defectors based in Turkey and channeling money and supplies to Syria, reviving their base among small Sunni farmers and middle class Syrians, opposition sources say.»

While Reuters categorically fails to explain the «how» behind the Brotherhood’s resurrection, it was revealed in a 2007 New Yorker article titled, «The Redirection» by Seymour Hersh, as being directly backed by the US and Israel who were funneling support through the Saudis so as to not compromise the «credibility» of the so-called «Islamic» movement. Hersh revealed that members of the Lebanese Saad Hariri clique, then led by Fouad Siniora, had been the go-between for US planners and the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood.

Hersh reports the Lebanese Hariri faction had met Dick Cheney in Washington and relayed personally the importance of using the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria in any move against the ruling government:

«[Walid] Jumblatt then told me that he had met with Vice-President Cheney in Washington last fall to discuss, among other issues, the possibility of undermining Assad. He and his colleagues advised Cheney that, if the United States does try to move against Syria, members of the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood would be “the ones to talk to,” Jumblatt said.» –The Redirection, Seymour Hersh

The article would continue by explaining how already in 2007, US and Saudi backing had begun benefiting the Brotherhood:

«There is evidence that the Administration’s redirection strategy has already benefitted the Brotherhood. The Syrian National Salvation Front is a coalition of opposition groups whose principal members are a faction led by Abdul Halim Khaddam, a former Syrian Vice-President who defected in 2005, and the Brotherhood. A former high-ranking C.I.A. officer told me, “The Americans have provided both political and financial support. The Saudis are taking the lead with financial support, but there is American involvement.” He said that Khaddam, who now lives in Paris, was getting money from Saudi Arabia, with the knowledge of the White House. (In 2005, a delegation of the Front’s members met with officials from the National Security Council, according to press reports.) A former White House official told me that the Saudis had provided members of the Front with travel documents.» –The Redirection, Seymour Hersh

It was warned that such backing would benefit the Brotherhood as a whole, not just in Syria, and could effect public opinion even as far as in Egypt where a long battle against the hardliners was fought in order to keep Egyptian governance secular. Clearly the Brotherhood did not spontaneously rise back to power in Syria, it was resurrected by US, Israeli, and Saudi cash, weapons and directives.

And most recently, as the West frequently does before elections it wishes to manipulate, premature claims by the Muslim Brotherhood of a victory during a presidential runoff were made headlines by the Western media in an effort to portray the Brotherhood as the victors and lay the groundwork for contesting any results other than a decisive win for the West’s proxy of choice.

US State Department-run Radio Free Europe Radio Liberty’s (RFE/RL) «Muslim Brotherhood Declares Victory In Egypt Election,» amongst many other articles attempted to give readers the impression that the Muslim Brotherhood had indeed already won the election. In reality the official tallies had yet to be given and it was merely the Brotherhood’s own rhetoric upon which the report was based. As election results were finalized, and the Brotherhood’s candidate, the US-educated Muhammad Morsi, appeared not to have the decisive victory claimed by his party and the Western media, immediately accusations of voter fraud were leveled against the Egyptian government.

The West is already combining its various proxy fronts for what it sees as a pivotal showdown and perhaps another opportunity to overthrow any remaining nationalist tendencies within the Egyptian military.  Despite the Muslim Brotherhood, allegedly being a theocratic sectarian party, the antithesis of what the secular April 6 Movement allegedly stood for, Ahmed Maher, the movement’s founder threw his full support behind the Brotherhood.

Maher it should be remembered, had been in the US, Serbia, and back again to the US for a series of training and networking opportunities arranged by the US State Department before during and after the so-called «Arab Spring.» What seemed like politically ideological opposites, between April 6 and the Muslim Brotherhood, in fact share a common denominator – they are instruments executing Western foreign policy.

Libya, Egypt, Syria and Beyond to Form United Front Against Iran

Weakening Egypt before NATO’s assault on Libya was a crucial step in ensuring the latter’s absolute destruction and the creation of what is now a Libyan terror-emirate shipping cash, weapons, and fighters east and west to destabilize and overthrow various governments on the Anglo-American’s long «to-do» list. The West’s ability to install a Muslim Brotherhood government in Egypt, with it’s substantial regional standing and influence would be a serious blow not only to Syria, but to Iran as well. The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is already echoing calls by the US and Israel for «intervention» in Syria.
