Υπάρχει ένα ζήτημα για το οποίο το κυβερνον Κόμμα Δικαιοσύνης και Ανάπτυξης (ΑΚΡ) και η κύρια αντιπολίτευση της Τουρκίας, το Δημοκρατικό Λαϊκό Κόμμα (CHP), συμφωνούν απόλυτα : Η πεποίθηση ότι τα ελληνικά νησιά είναι κατεχόμενα το τουρκικό έδαφος και πρέπει να ανακτηθούν.
Η πεποίθηση αυτή είναι τόσο ισχυρή ώστε οι ηγέτες και των δύο κομματων απειλούν ανοιχτά με εισβολή στο Αιγαίο.
Η μόνη διένεξη των δύο κομμάτων σχετικά με αυτό το θέμα είναι ο ανταγωνισμος τους να αποδείξουν ποιο από τα δύο είναι το πιο ισχυρό και πατριωτικό και το οποίο θα έχει το θάρρος να πραγματοποιήσει την απειλή κατά της Ελλάδας. Ενώ το CHP κατηγορεί το κόμμα AKP του Προέδρου Ρετζέπ Ταγίπ Ερντογάν ότι επιτρέπει στην Ελλάδα να κατέχει τουρκικά εδάφη, το AKP κατηγορεί το CHP, το ιδρυτικό κόμμα της Τουρκίας, επειδή επέτρεψε στην Ελλάδα να πάρει τα νησιά μέσω της Συνθήκης του Λωζάννης του 1924, , και της Συνθήκης του Παρισιού του 1947, η οποία αναγνώρισε τα νησιά του Αιγαίου ως ελληνική επικράτεια.
Το 2016, ο Ερντογάν δήλωσε ότι η Τουρκία «εγκατέλειψε» τα νησιά που «υπήρξαν δικά μας» και είναι » σε απόσταση αναπνοής».«Υπάρχουν ακόμα τα τζαμιά μας, τα ιερά μας εκεί», ανέφερε, αναφερόμενος στην οθωμανική κατοχή των νησιών.
Δύο μήνες νωρίτερα, στο «Συνέδριο για τη νέα αντίληψη ασφαλείας της Τουρκίας», ο Ερντογάν δήλωσε : «Η Λωζάννη … δεν ήταν ποτέ ιερό κείμενο. Φυσικά, θα το συζητήσουμε και θα αγωνιστούμε να έχουμε ένα καλύτερο». Στη συνέχεια, τα φιλοκυβερνητικά μέσα ενημέρωσης δημοσίευσαν χάρτες και φωτογραφίες των νησιών του Αιγαίου, ορίζοντας τις περιοχές που «ο Ερντογάν λέει ότι δώσαμε στη Λωζάνη».
Για να επιτύχει τον τελικό του στόχο και να αφήσει πίσω του μια κληρονομιά που ξεπερνά εκείνη όλων των άλλων Τούρκων ηγετών, ο Ερντογάν έχει θέσει ορισμένους στόχους για το έτος 2023, την 100ή επέτειο από την ίδρυση της Τουρκικής Δημοκρατίας και το 2071, την 1000ή επέτειο του 1071 Μάχη του Manzikert , κατά τη διάρκεια της οποίας οι μουσουλμάνοι Τούρκοι τζιχαντιστές από την Κεντρική Ασία κατέστρεψαν τις χριστιανικές ελληνικές βυζαντινές δυνάμεις στην αρμενική οροσειρά της βυζαντινής αυτοκρατορίας.

With the hysteria over the arrest of a Christian girl with Down’s syndrome on a charge of blasphemy yet to blow over, the brutally tortured body of an 11-year-old Christian boy has been found in Pakistan’s Punjab province.
The body of Samuel Yaqoob, was discovered with his lips and nose cut off, his stomach removed and his legs mutilated. According to police the body was later burned and could hardly be recognized.
Relatives identified the corpse from a distinctive mark on the boy’s forehead.
Yaqoob, a resident of the Christian Colony of Faisalabad, had been missing since August 20, last seen on his way to a local market. His mutilated remains were found on Eid-Ul-Fitr holiday, which marks the end of the month-long Muslim fast of Ramadan.
Detectives are investigating whether accusations of blasphemy had previously been filed against the minor. Yaquub was believed to be an orphan, but The Telegraph reports that his mother was quoted in the local press denying any allegations were made.
«We neither received any phone call for ransom nor were we told that Samuel had committed blasphemy,» she said.
When a Christian group is suspected of transgressing the blasphemy laws, the consequences can be brutal, reports the World Public Forum NGO.
The death of the 11-year-old comes a week after a young Christian girl with Down’s syndrome was charged with blasphemy after reportedly burning pages of a Koran.
Rifta Masih was beaten by local Muslims after they witnessed her allegedly torching pages of the sacred book when cooking. Several hundred Christians have fled their homes following the incident in fear of violence after local mosques reported the alleged incident over loudspeakers, and hundreds of Muslims taken to the streets.
In Pakistan, those accused of blasphemy are subject to instant imprisonment and most are denied bail to prevent mob violence. As a rule, the accused are placed in solitary confinement for their own protection against harassment from inmates or guards.
Those that have been acquitted from the charges, often leave the country, one of the strictest enforcers of Sharia law in the world, reports the Washington Post. In Pakistan, slandering Islam or its holy book is punishable by death.
There have been no executions for blasphemy, though Asia Bibi, a mother of five and a Christian, was sentenced to death two years ago. Bibi has not been executed as of yet, and may be pardoned of her death sentence.
Christian minister Shahbaz Bhatti and Pakistani government politician Salmaan Taseer were both assassinated for opposing the blasphemy laws in connection with Bibi’s case.
Last month, a man accused of desecrating a Koran was dragged from a police station by a mob and beaten to death.
According to Human Rights Watch researcher Ali Dyan Hasan, «The [country’s blasphemy] law creates this legal infrastructure which is then used in various informal ways to intimidate, coerce, harass and persecute.»
Facts: A well known voracious Islamic da’i and apologist. He has contributed numerous writings to many Islamic websites and authored a book in Greek entitled “God, One of Triune?”. He is also a representative of the Mosque El-Rahman in Athens. He speaks and reads Greek and English.

Ένας από τους ισλαμοφοβικους που συνδέει το Ισλάμ με την Τουρκία( το αιώνιο λάθος που το έχω απαντήσει εκατομμύρια φόρες) φαίνεται ότι βιάζεται να βγάλει είδηση έστω και αν παραπληροφορεί τους αναγνώστες του. Αυτό που λέμε «ούτε ιερό ούτε όσιο»
Ρίξτε μια ματιά σε μια είδηση για εμένα εδώ. Και πείτε μου πραγματικά. Πόσες φορές έχω δηλώσει ότι κάνω ανοιχτά κριτική στον Χριστιανισμό; ΑΠΕΙΡΕΣ ΦΟΡΕΣ. Πόσες φορές έχω δηλώσει καθαρά και ξάστερα ότι είμαι εκπρόσωπος του Συλλόγου Ελ Ραχμαν(μουσουλμανικού σωματείου) ΕΚΑΤΟΜΜΥΡΙΑ φορές!
Και όχι μόνο αυτό αλλά έχω κάνει ειδικό αφιέρωμα με φωτογραφίες στο Σύλλογο μας!
Μια άλλη ερώτηση τώρα. Πόσες φορές έχω πει ότι είμαι ΕΛΛΗΝΑΣ μουσουλμάνος; Άλλες δισεκατομμύρια φορές!
Αυτός ο εξωγήινος blogger δεν ξέρει ότι αυτά τα έχω δηλώσει ανοιχτά και ξεκάθαρα;(που ακριβώς για αυτό το λόγο ο κ Αυτιάς στην Εκπομπή «καλημέρα σας» με κάλεσε, για να μιλήσω για το θέμα του Κορανίου και τα επεισόδια). Κάποιος να τον ενημερώσει ότι αυτά τα στοιχειά τα έχω καταχωρήσει εδώ και 1.5 ΧΡΟΝΟ ! Τώρα ξύπνησε αυτός; Η τώρα μάλλον είναι η κατάλληλη ώρα για προπαγάνδα;
Τέλος κάνει λόγο περί λαθρομεταναστών και Μουσουλμάνων που πρέπει να πάνε πίσω στις χώρες τους. Πόσο ανόητος είναι αυτός ο τύπος; Μιλάμε για Μουσουλμάνους ΕΛΛΗΝΕΣ σαν και εμένα που διεκδικούμε τα δικαιώματα μας να έχουμε χώρους λατρείας αξιοπρεπέστατους και επίσημους εκτός από Συλλόγους.
Για τους υπόλοιπους μετανάστες που είναι ΝΟΜΙΜΟΙ άλλο τόσο και αυτοί έχουν τα ΙΔΙΑ δικαιώματα με τους ΕΛΛΗΝΕΣ ΜΟΥΣΟΥΛΜΑΝΟΥΣ για χώρους να μπορούν να κάνουν την προσευχή τους, της εκδηλώσεις τους κτλ.
Οι απόψεις μου είναι γνωστές σε όλους ποτέ δεν έκρυψα τίποτα και η απόδειξη είναι η ιστοσελίδα μου που τα αναφέρω όλα αναλυτικά. Και όχι μόνο δεν τις έκρυψα αλλά κάλεσα και όσους έχουν αντίθετη άποψη σε ανοιχτό διάλογο.
Η απάτη του blogger είναι ολοφάνερη. Προσπαθεί να με παρουσιάσει σαν μετανάστη(ακόμα χειρότερα σαν λαθρομετανάστη) μέσα από ένα blog που έγραφα παλιά, που ούτε η εθνικότητα μου είχε αναφέρει ο συντάκτης του blog.
Κόβει και ράβει τις πληροφορίες του για να πει το ψέμα που τον βολεύει για να συμφωνεί με την ιδεολογία του. Προτιμά να βάζει σαν πηγή για το άτομο μου, τι λένε οι άλλοι για μένα, ενώ αγνοεί παντελώς τις πληροφορίες που δίνω εγώ για τον εαυτό μου.
Γιατί λοιπόν αυτός ο άσχετος bloger με παρουσιάζει λες και τα έκρυβα αυτά;
Τέλος, παρουσιάζει ένα άρθρο μου ότι καλεί στην παγκοσμιοποίηση. Ο αναγνώστης όμως διαβάζοντας, βλέπει ξεκάθαρα τα χωρία του Κορανίου που καλούν σε σεβασμό μεταξύ των λαών και των εθνών και ότι ο Θεός ήταν αυτός που έπλασε τα έθνη και τις φυλές. Άρα για ποια παγκοσμιοποίηση με κατηγορεί;
Ο Bloger απέδειξε την αναξιοπιστία του και την προκατάληψη του, τουλάχιστον όσον αφορά το πρόσωπο μου και τις θέσεις που παρουσίασε για λογαριασμό μου.

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks. Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation’s mosques.

Highlights of the Minister of Interior Mr Prokopis Pavlopoulos’ speech during the 5th International Conference, organized in Athens by the Hellenic Migration Policy Institute (IMEPO) and the Migration Policy Institute (MPIUSA) on January 26th, 2009.

Do note that, according to the IMEPO press release, all speakers praised legal immigration but no-one noticed the elephant in the room – at least as far as Greece is concerned: illegal immigration and the need for a more efficient repatriation system.
Greek trade Unionists accuse Bulgarian and Romanian immigrants of “bleeding the pension funds dry”
Opening the doors to Bulgarian and Romanian immigrants (as reported in January’s newsletter, “Greece opens borders for Bulgarian and Romanian workers”) seems to have a consequence not foreseen by the Greek government.

Long-term residence status offered to 2nd generation immigrants contravenes EU directive
A Ministry of Interior Bill which offered a chance to the children of legal immigrants to acquire the long-term resident status has ran into serious trouble as it seems to contravene an EU directive. According to the Bill, immigrant children who had been born in Greece, who had reached their 18th year of age, whose parents still resided the country legally and who had finished the obligatory education (i.e. 6 years of elementary school and 3 years of high school) were eligible for the long-term resident status.
According to the reply of the European Commission to a relevant question by Coalition of the Radical Left MEP Mr Dimitris Papadimoulis, the status of residence of the child’s parents is irrelevant to the acquisition of the long-term resident status by the child. Moreover, according to European Council Directive 2003/109/EC of 25 November 2003, the main criterion in order for an immigrant to acquire the long-term resident status is to have five consecutive years of legal residence.
The European Commission will contact the Greek authorities in order to clarify the details of the Bill. Still, it is amazing how the Ministry of Interior managed to overlook the EU directives when they drafted it.

Parliament discusses the situation of illegal immigrants in Patras
Professor Theodore Lianos writes in favor of the repatriation of all illegal immigrants
Athens University of Economics and Business Professor Theodore Lianos, in an article in “To Vima tis Kyriakis” (15/2/2009) argues that, even if the population of illegal immigrants in Greece is 250,000, this number is “exceptionally high”. In his view a new regularization would not solve the problems but would lead to a dead-end instead as 250,000 new illegal immigrants would enter the country in the prospect of a new amnesty in two-three years’ time. Professor Lianos favors the repatriation of all illegal immigrants and claims that “the governments and state mechanisms know the way [to repatriate all illegal immigrants] well”.

Muslims admit of fundamentalist preaching in Athens’ informal mosques
The Muslim Union of Greece sent two letters addressed to the Ministers of Education and Interior in order to put pressure on the issue of the establishment of a mosque and of a cemetery in Athens. In the letters the MUG argues that the large and uncontrolled influx of immigrants from Muslim countries has resulted in the need for a formal mosque and a cemetery in Athens. According to the MUG letters, Muslims pray in informal mosques where preachers do not preach of the peaceful co-existence of peoples and the benefit of Greece, but promote their own agendas.

Arrests for illegal entry and/or illegal stay jump by 30%
According to figures released by the Greek police, arrests for illegal entry and/or illegal stay in 2008 reached 146,337, an increase by 30.2% compared to 2007. The figures presented in the table above show that arrests for illegal entry/stay have more than doubled in the last four years.

Immigrants/foreigners play a significant part in serious crime in Greece
According to criminality figures for 2008 released by the Greek police, the presence of foreigners (in most cases immigrants both regularized and illegal) plays a significant part in the commitment of serious crimes. Foreigners/immigrants (7.3% of the population according to 2001 Census data) make up for 42% of those arrested for homicides, for 43% of those arrested for rape, for 45% of those arrested for thefts-burglaries and for 51% of those arrested for robberies.
