Who or What is Russia’s «Pussy Riot?»

West’s «Pussy Riot» media coverage worse than «Soviet era» propaganda.

August 6, 2012 –  Accurately described as bigots and hooligans, the 3 member musical band known as «Pussy Riot» is now on trial for «hooliganism motivated by religious hatred.» This came after they burst into a church in Moscow, disturbing the peace while mocking the beliefs of practitioners in an attempt to protest against Russian President Vladimir Putin. Had skinheads done something similar in a synagogue in the West, surely they’d have long ago paid steep fines and begun their lengthy jail sentences for «public insults based on origin, religious affiliation, race or ethnicity» (and here).

The Guardian’s article titled, «Pussy Riot trial ‘worse than Soviet era’,» opens immediately with overt propaganda, describing the courtroom and Russian flag as «shabby» and a police dog as «in search of blood.» The British paper attempts to portray Russia itself as having a «stark divide» between conservatives and liberals, the latter fighting against the state «with any means it can.»

Already the Guardian runs into trouble – by portraying Russia as «divided» it is dismissing recent elections that granted Vladimir Putin and his United Russia party a sound mandate to lead the country. And while it is true that in reality, between voter turnout and Putin’s garnering the support of 63% of those that did turn out (in a 5-way race), only about 40% of Russia’s total registered voters actually voted for Putin, his mandate is still sounder than that of  US President Barack Obama’s 32% in a mere 2-way race, or last year’s victory here in Thailand by Yingluck Shinawatra with a tenuous 35%, a victory hailed by the Western media as a «sweeping» mandate.

It should also be noted that Russia’s recent elections were marred by election monitoring NGO «GOLOS» attempting to call the results fraudulent. It would be later revealed that this NGO, billed as «independent» by the Western press, was in fact funded and directed by the US State Department via the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). Attempts by Wall Street and London to frame the elections as fraudulent set the groundwork for a wider campaign of political destabilization – a campaign «Pussy Riot» has now become a key player in.

Tasteless PR Stunt the Work of the US State Department

The Guardian however is absolutely correct when they call the «Pussy Riot» proceedings a «show trial.» However, they are wrong in claiming that the showmanship is the work of the Russian Federation. Instead, it is showmanship put on by the Western media and the US State Department’s vast network of faux-NGOs.

The Guardian’s entire article is propaganda written with a literary rather than journalistic tone. The article itself cites the defendant’s lawyer whose comments form the very basis of the article’s title. And while the Guardian may prey successfully on the emotions of ill-informed, unsuspecting, but well-intentioned readers, it lets slip several telling clues as to who is really behind the showmanship.

According to the Guardian, the defense «tried to call 13 witness, including opposition leader Alexey Navalny.» Navalny, of course, is a longtime operative receiving both political and financial support from the West in efforts to undermine the Russian government and bring back the days of Wall Street and London’s unhindered plundering that marked the 1990’s.

Alexey Navalny was a Yale World Fellow, and in his profile it states:

«Navalny spearheads legal challenges on behalf of minority shareholders in large Russian companies, including Gazprom, Bank VTB, Sberbank, Rosneft, Transneft, and Surgutneftegaz, through the Union of Minority Shareholders. He has successfully forced companies to disclose more information to their shareholders and has sued individual managers at several major corporations for allegedly corrupt practices. Navalny is also co-founder of the Democratic Alternative movement and was vice-chairman of the Moscow branch of the political party YABLOKO. In 2010, he launched RosPil, a public project funded by unprecedented fundraising in Russia. In 2011, Navalny started RosYama, which combats fraud in the road construction sector.»

The Democratic Alternative, also written DA!, is indeed a National Endowment for Democracy fund recipient, meaning that Alexey Navalny is an agent of US-funded sedition. And despite posing as a champion for «transparency,» Navalny is willfully hiding this from his followers. The US State Department itself reveals this as they list «youth movements» operating in Russia:

«DA!: Mariya Gaydar, daughter of former Prime Minister Yegor Gaydar, leads DA! (Democratic Alternative). She is ardent in her promotion of democracy, but realistic about the obstacles she faces. Gaydar said that DA! is focused on non-partisan activities designed to raise political awareness. She has received funding from the National Endowment for Democracy, a fact she does not publicize for fear of appearing compromised by an American connection.»

Navalny was involved directly in founding a movement funded by the US government and to this day has the very people who funded DA! defending him throughout Western media. The mention of co-founder Mariya Gaydar is also revealing, as she has long collaborated, and occasionally has been arrested with, Ilya Yashin, yet another leader of a NED-funded Russian «activist» opposition group.

If «Pussy Riot’s» defense is calling up a documented agent of Western interests as a «witness,» one wonders under what context and to what degree Navalny, and by consequence, the National Endowment for Democracy, is involved with the defendants. Navalny admits that he is «acquainted» with one of the band members, but was not actually a «witness,» and rather would have testified in order to «defend law and justice.»

Clearly then, the defense’s attempts to include him in the trial were politically motivated, having nothing to do with either law or justice, and serves simply as a means to link «Pussy Riot» to the US State Department’s subversive opposition, many of whose leaders were caught filing into the US Embassy in Moscow earlier this year.

Also telling, is that Oksana Chelysheva – board member of the Finnish-Russian Civic Forum and a steering committee member of  the NED, convicted criminal George Soros Open Society-funded FIDH, Open Society, Ford Foundation, Sigrid Rausing Trust-funded Front Line Defenders, and US State Department-run Amnesty International-affiliated EU-Russia Civil Society Forum – is heading «Pussy Riot’s» support campaign.

Chelysheva was also «Deputy Executive Director» of the Russian-Chechen Friendship Society, fully funded by the US State Department via the National Endowment for Democracy. The «Friendship Society» was essentially a public relations front of Al Qaeda-aligned Chechen terrorists ravaging Russia’s Caucasus region – a plot offered new relevance as the US, NATO, and Gulf States openly support similar groups of terrorists now ravaging Syria. The «Friendship Society» served a similar function to the now discredited «Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.»

While it is unknown, so far, whether or not the members of «Pussy Riot» were contacted by any of these groups, or by the US State Department or its subsidiaries to carry out their hooliganism, it is clear that these groups and the US State Department itself has turned an otherwise tasteless disturbance of peace and a violation of Church-goers’ rights to practice their faith without harassment, into a point of political leverage against Russia.

Helping to push down on this political lever are propaganda outfits like the Guardian, portraying the trial as a case of liberal Russian opposition groups fighting against a judicial throwback to the Soviet Union. In reality, it is another Wall Street-London production in the same vein as Serbia’s US-funded Otpor movement, the Kony 2012 fraud and the US-engineered «Arab Spring.»

EU Gives WikiLeaks Propaganda About Chemical Weapons in Syria

Members of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) are not just tied to al-Qaeda, the CIA-funded fake Islamic terrorist group, they ARE al-Qaeda. In a video of members of the FSA, these men are brandishing AK-47s provided to them by the CIA and have al-Qaeda flags flying in the background.

Al-Qaeda has been used by the US government in insurgent recruitment and in destabilizing Middle Eastern governments. The new recruits, being trained by the CIA in Turkey, then being allocated to the FSA and being used to destroy the Syrian government are directly tied to al-Qaeda. In the mainstream media, al-Qaeda is still touted as a separate terrorist organization with no ties to the US government.

Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish Prime Minister, is now decrying that his involvement in assisting the CIA has created a backlash of violence in his own country and compromised their national security.

Erdogan is reluctant to continue to cooperate with CIA training facilities that create more “troops” for the FSA who are released into Syria through the Turkish border. The further involvement of Turkey in attempting to “handover Assad” to the US government through the use of fake terrorist organizations is causing a Kurdish outcry while military training camps are turning out “a good number of Kurds” who have been taught how to covertly support the US and Israel movement toward forced regime change in Syria.

Abu Thuha (a pseudonym) is an al-Qaeda operative who claims that “we have experience now fighting the Americans, and more experience now with the Syrian revolution. Our big hope is to form a Syrian-Iraqi Islamic state for all Muslims, and then announce our war against Iran and Israel, and free Palestine.”

The terrorist activity in Syria has been directly committed by oppositional groups that are being controlled and directed by the US government in order to facilitate internal conflict, says a study by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

Joseph Holiday, analyst for the ISW, who studies the influence al-Qaeda has had on the Arab Spring, asserts: “The emergence of Al Qaeda-linked terrorist cells working against the regime poses risks to the United States and a challenge to those calling for material support of the armed opposition. It’s something to keep an eye out for, the convergence of Iraq and Syria. As the Syrian government loses the ability to project force on the periphery of its territory, what you’re going to see is an emboldened Sunni opposition emerging in Nineveh and Iraq.”

Daniel Byman, a professor and counterterrorism expert at Georgetown University as well as a fellow of the Brookings Institute, says that it is obvious that al-Qaeda is becoming more active in Syria. This terrorist organization was used by the US government in Somalia and Mali, and before that in Chechnya and Yemen, and the group is currently trying to turn a local conflict to its advantage. “There’s no question Al Qaeda wants to do that, and they are actually pretty good at this sort of thing,” said Byman. “They’ve done well at taking a local conflict” and taking it global. “They learned a lot from Iraq,” he remarks. “They even write about this — they say, ‘We got on the wrong side of the locals.’ ”

Along with use of fake terrorist groups, Syria is being accosted with false claims of chemical weapons which are being tied to Iran by the US government and Israel. Documents provided by the European Union are being used to support the WMDs false flag. The EU says they provided the technical assistance and equipment as well as $14.2 million to the Syrian Ministry of Industry in 2010. The EU says that now these procurements are being used to create a chemical weapon’s program.

An EU spokesperson says that the money they gave Syria was supposed to be allocated to safety standards for products and laboratories, but now they believe it has been used to create chemical weapons.

James Quinlivan, senior operations research analyst at the RAND Corporation, a globalist front for Elite agendas, claims that “calibration is a big deal for these things. While mustard [gas] lasts amazingly well, nerve agents do not. For nerve gases, particularly sarin, retention relies on purity, and this must be tested.”

WikiLeaks have been working with the US State Department in framing Iran and Syria, as the website has built a following and reputation as being an exposer of wrong-doings by governments. Yet, the WikiLeaks phenomena is also created and controlled by the US government and only “leaks” information that is useful to the US government’s agendas and strategies overseas.

The so-called “Syrian Files” were nothing more than propaganda planted by the US government in conjunction with Julian Assange to divert attention, create false claims against Syria and promote the coming military strike against Syria.

Surfacing just in time to prove that Syria has WMDs is a 2006 communication that was supposedly confidential which claims Syria and Iran are working together to develop 5 new chemical weapons plants; in particular that Syria has new sites that are fronts for manufacturing facilities.

This time the global Elite are not just claiming that the “enemy” has WMDs, they are planting the evidence so that the debacle that faced former President George W Bush with Iraq’s non-existent WMDs will not be an issue.

According to the falsified documents provided by WikiLeaks, a US diplomat states: “Iran would provide the construction design and equipment to annually produce tens to hundreds of tons of precursors for VX, sarin, and mustard [gas]. Engineers from Iran’s DIO [Defense Industries Organization] were to visit Syria and survey locations for the plants, and construction was scheduled from the end of 2005-2006.”

A 2008 correspondence by the US State Department says that Syria has become “sophisticated in its efforts to move equipment and resources from civilian programs to weapons development.”

According to the document “the Australians believe Syria is committed to improving and expanding its program, including through testing. Syria maintains a basic indigenous capability, in contrast to other countries of concern, but maintains some dependence on precursor imports. . . . Syria appears focused on importing precursors and precursors of precursors.”

The false flag assertion of Syrian chemical weapons is giving the international community the necessary fuel to support the US/Israeli military attack of Syria. It is being kept secret from the general public with the assistance of the MSM that the murder of Syrian civilians is being committed by the FSA under the direction of the CIA, the script being played out to keep Assad’s armies under foot with “little chance of turning defeat into victory.”

Syrian Rebels Set Trap for British Journalists

Alex Thomson narrowly escapes attempt to kill his Channel 4 team, «clear the rebels deliberately set us up to be shot by the Syrian Army.»

June 9, 2012 – While the New York Times publishes Goebbels-esque war propaganda pieces titled, «Assad, the Butcher,» presuming to know the details about an unconfirmed «massacre» the UN is just now in the beginning stages of investigating – a disturbing and very telling incident unfolded that is very much confirmed. British Channel 4’s Alex Thomson, one of the few Western journalists not only in Syria legally, but attempting to cover both sides of the conflict, was purposefully led by rebels into a trap designed to have him and his team killed by government troops.

«Set up to be shot in Syria’s no man’s land?» featured on Thomson’s personal Channel 4 blog describes a tale of violence on both sides – very uncharacteristic of Western and particularly British media coverage. While BBC was busy posting fake pictures for their one-sided Houla Massacre coverage, Thomson was busy trying to interview belligerents on both sides of the Syrian conflict.

Thomson’s narrative describes what appears to be a bifurcation between «rebel» forces. On one hand, there are organized fighters that appear to solely committed to fighting the Syrian Army. On the other hand, there appears to be a more insidious «third party» involved, a third party implicated by Thomson as having intentionally led him and his team into a deadly trap. This is a narrative that corroborates statements made by the Syrian government itself, as well as independent geopolitical analysts from around the world – that there exists a substantiation third party, consisting of foreign mercenaries and sectarian extremists carrying out the bulk of the violence and atrocities.

Thomson describes his ordeal after accompanying UN monitors out to «Free Syrian Army» held territory:

«We decide to ask for an escort out the safe way we came in. Both sides, both checkpoints will remember our vehicle.

Suddenly four men in a black car beckon us to follow. We move out behind.

We are led another route. Led in fact, straight into a free-fire zone. Told by the Free Syrian Army to follow a road that was blocked off in the middle of no-man’s-land.

At that point there was the crack of a bullet and one of the slower three-point turns I’ve experienced. We screamed off into the nearest side-street for cover.
Another dead-end.

There was no option but to drive back out onto the sniping ground and floor it back to the road we’d been led in on.

Predictably the black car was there which had led us to the trap. They roared off as soon as we re-appeared.»

I’m quite clear the rebels deliberately set us up to be shot by the Syrian Army. Dead journos are bad for Damascus.»

Alex Thomson concluded his account by saying, «in a war where they slit the throats of toddlers back to the spine, what’s the big deal in sending a van full of journalists into the killing zone? It was nothing personal.»

The obvious question that comes to mind upon reading Thomson’s account, along with emerging evidence that the Western press willfully lied about the Houla Massacre and is attempting to do so again regarding killings in Hama, is that «if rebels are willing to try and kill foreign journalists for propaganda value – men and women merely trying to do their job, to share with the world the truth about unfolding events in Syria – just to blame the deaths on the Syrian government, why wouldn’t they kill men, women and children to blame on the Syrian government as well?»

Another pertinent question would be, «what if the rebels had succeeded in their insidious plan to have Thomson and his team killed? Would the Western press commit themselves to due diligence in ascertaining the truth surrounding the circumstances of their deaths? Or would headlines read, «BRITISH JOURNALISTS SLAUGHTERED BY ASSAD!»

It is above all ironic, that the West’s insidious leadership who long planned Syria’s division, destruction, and downfall, and the Western media that serves this agenda, are able to invoke so much genuine sympathy and concern for human life in people around the world, when they themselves lack any at all.

June 8, 2012 – Foundation for Defense of Democracies‘ Clifford May in an article titled, «The Battle of Syria: Assad’s survival would be a victory for Iran — and a defeat for the US,» openly dispels the commonly held notion among the West’s remaining public support, that their meddling in Syria’s ongoing strife has anything to do with humanitarian concerns. In fact, May openly states that defeating Syria as a proxy of Iran is far more important than «the dearth of sincere Muslim freedom fighters» or «humanitarian concerns.»

One would believe this to be a giant sprawling organization with hundreds of members working hard on the ground, documenting evidence in Syria with photographs and video, while coordinating with foreign press to transparently and objectively «observe» the «human rights» conditions in Syria, as well as demonstrate their methodologies. Surely that is the impression the Western media attempts to relay to its readers.

June 2, 2012 – The Guardian claims in their report, «I saw massacre of children, says defecting Syrian air force officer,» that long bearded men with shaved heads were observed by an alleged «air force officer» from inside his house some 300 meters away, storming the village of Houla, Syria screaming, «Shabiha forever, for your eyes, Assad.» The Guardian claims this tenuous narrative constitutes, «crucial evidence on the Houla killings.»
